Arnold Palmer Invitational: PGA Tour Predictions, Odds 3/2/23
Arnold Palmer Invitational
March 2, 2023 7:00 am EDT
This week, the PGA Tour travels to Orlando, Florida for the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Before I dive into my favorite golf bet for this week’s PGA Tour event let’s take a quick look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
This week, the PGA Tour travels to Orlando, Florida for the second leg of the Florida swing. The 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational will be contested at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge. The Bay Hill course is a par 72 that measures 7,454 yards. The track features rather wide generous fairways and minimal rough. It should also be noted that Bay Hill has several long par three holes that average 217 yards in length.
In my opinion, the key player statistics that are the most important to a golfer’s success this week are GIR (greens in regulation), strokes gained tee to green, strokes gained approach and strokes gained putting.
Now let’s shift our attention to my favorite golf bet for the 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.
Rickie Fowler +325
Rickie Fowler arrives at this week’s 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational on the heels to three consecutive top 20 finishes on the PGA Tour, including a tenth place result at the 2023 Waste Management Phoenix Open two weeks ago.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Rickie Fowler ranks fourth in strokes gained approach, 12th in strokes gained ball striking, and eighth in birdie or better percentage.
Rickie Fowler also finished 18th at the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational. I like Rickie’s chances to post another top 20 at the API this week.
