This week, the PGA Tour presents golf bettors with the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach, Pro-Am.
Before I discuss my favorite tournament matchup bet for the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am let’s take a look at the current leaders in scoring average on the PGA Tour that are in this week’s field.
Top Five Golfers in Scoring Average

Now that we have established who the top five golfers with regard to scoring average are on the PGA Tour (in this week’s field) let’s shift our attention to my favorite tournament matchup bet for this week’s 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Ben Griffin -120 over David Lipsky
Since the beginning of October, Ben Griffin has played seven tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those seven events just noted, Ben Griffin accumulated five top 32 finishes, including a 12th place result at the 2023 Sony Open two weeks ago.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 AT&T Pebble Pro-Am field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Ben Griffin ranks eighth in strokes gained ball striking, fifth in strokes gained off the tee, 11th in GIR (greens in regulation), and seventh in bogey avoidance.
In summary, I am backing Ben Griffin to defeat David Lipsky at odds of -120.
