This week, the PGA Tour travels to the Dominican Republic for the 2023 Corales Puntacana Championship.
Before I discuss my favorite golf bet for this week’s PGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play.
The 2023 Corales Puntacana Championship will be played at the Corales Golf Course in the Dominican Republic. The course is a par 72 that measures 7,670 yards. The course offers wide generous fairways and minimal rough. It should also be noted that this golf course is a coastal track.
The Corales Golf Course was designed by Tom Fazio in 2010. Additionally, the Corales Golf Course has hosted the event each year it has been played on the PGA Tour.
Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bet for the 2023 Corales Puntacana Championship.

Ben Martin has accumulated two top 13 finishes in his last four tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including an impressive fifth place result at the 2023 Honda Classic last month.
In relation to this week’s current listed 2023 Corales Puntacana Championship field, in the last 24 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Ben Martin ranks 11th in GIR (greens in regulation), tenth in birdie or better percentage, and third in strokes gained ball striking.
I also like the fact that Ben Martin has played well at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. Martin finished second at the 2022 Corales Puntacana Championship.
