AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
February 2, 2023 10:30 am EDT

This week, the PGA Tour travels to beautiful Pebble Beach, California for the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Before I discuss my favorite golf bet for this week’s PGA Tour event let’s take a quick look at this tournament’s unique format.

The 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be played on three different golf courses over a four day period. Unlike most PGA Tour events that have a cut after two rounds, the cut for this week’s tournament will take place after the completion of the third round on Saturday.

This tournament will be contested on the following three golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, and Monterrey Peninsula. All golfers in the field will play each course in the first three rounds. Upon completion of the third round, a cut will occur. The top 65 players and ties will move on to play the final round on Sunday. The final round will be played on the Pebble Beach course.

Here is my favorite golf bet for the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Trey Mullinax -300

Since the beginning of July, Trey Mullinax has played 12 tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those 12 events just noted, Mullinax has accumulated six top 28 finishes, including a win at the 2022 Barbasol Championship.

I also like the fact that Trey Mullinax has posted quality results at this week’s PGA Tour event in the past. Since 2017, Trey Mullinax has played the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am four times. In those four tournaments just noted, Mullinax has accumulated three top 28 finishes, including a 14th place result at the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

In summary, I am backing Trey Mullinax to post a top 20 finish.
