Top Asian: Gavin Green +180
Gavin Green arrives at this week’s event on the heels of three consecutive top 11 finishes on the DP World Tour, including an impressive second place result at the 2022 Portugal Masters last month.
Due to the fact that Gavin Green played so well at the Portugal Masters, I decided to take a hard look at Green’s statistics relative to the field.
After four rounds of competitive play at the Portugal Masters, in relation to the field, Gavin Green ranked first in strokes gained putting (1.54), third in GIR (greens in regulation-87.5%), and first in strokes gained approach (9.502).
In summary, I am backing Gavin Green to be the top Asian golfer in the field at odds of +180.
