This week, the PGA and LPGA Tours have joined forces to bring Draftkings fantasy golf fans this week’s 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational. A stacked field of talented teams, including Corey Conners and Brooke Henderson, will attempt to win this week’s Grant Thornton Invitational.
Before I discuss into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational.
*The rules for this week’s DraftKings contest differ from the more traditional classic contests due to the fact this is a team event. Feel free to check the DraftKings website for specifics regarding the rules if needed.

2024 Grant Thornton Invitational Draftkings Picks
Nelly Korda $10,800
Since the beginning of May, Nelly Korda has played ten events on the LPGA Tour. In those ten tournaments just mentioned, Korda compiled an impressive six top seven finishes, including two wins (2024 Mizuho Americas Open: 2024 The Annika at Pelican Invitational).
Nelly Korda also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Korda is currently ranked third in GIR (greens in regulation-76.02%), second in overall putting average (1.76), fifth in strokes gained tee to green (1.48), and second overall scoring average (69.56) on the LPGA Tour.
It should be noted that Nelly Korda and Tony Finau finished fourth at the 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational.
Corey Conners $9,700
The talented Canadian arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top seven finishes (PGA and DP World Tours combined), including a sixth-place result at last week’s 2024 Nedbank Challenge.
Due to Corey Conners quality finish at the 2024 Nedbank Challenge I decided to take a hard look at the relevant player statistics for the event to see how Conners fared relative to the field.
Upon the completion of four rounds of competitive play at the 2024 Nedbank Challenge, in relation to the field, Corey Conners ranked first in strokes gained tee to green (1.92), fourth in driving accuracy (67.86%), and second in bogey avoidance (9).
Brooked Henderson and Corey Conners finished second at the 2023 Grant Thornton Invitational.
Lydia Ko $9,900
Lydia Ko has compiled five top 12 finishes in her last six events played on the LPGA Tour, including a win at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open in August.
Megan Khang $7,000
Megan Khang has accumulated two top eight finishes in her last four tournaments played on the DP World Tour, including an eighth place result at the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship in October.
Additional golfers I like to play well this week (Draftkings price noted): Tony Finau $10,800: Jason Day $9,900: Brooke Henderson $9,700.
