This six-furlong $60,000 stakes race will have seven colts and geldings who are 3-years-old and upwards. I expect this to be a really good race.

#1 Legal Deal (5/1) is taking a huge step up in class after finishing second versus $16,000 optional claimers the last time out. Has shown improvement in each of her last three starts and is 4-2-1-0 at the current distance. Paco Lopez gets his second straight ride.

#2 Jackson (8/1) set the pace and was among the leaders the last time out, his first race since March, before tiring and finishing a distant fifth. The 4-year-old son of Kanthoros has five wins and 11 top-3 finishes in 17 stakes races for his career as well as a 66.7% WPS percentage in dirt races. In addition, he gets distance relief and runs well at this distance. Jackson has been training extremely well.

#3 With Verve (3/1) is the younger half-brother of Jackson though he has a completely different racing style from the No. 2 horse. With Verve, who has three wins and a second-place in six starts at this distance, is a closer who works off the pace. He has not raced since the beginning of September.

#4 As Seen On Tv (7/2) has five cashes in eight career starts but he has failed to hit the board in any of his last three starts -- all stakes events. A front-runner, As Seen On TV has a lot of speed. He is 1-1 against Shivaree in their duels. #5 Vinnie Van Go (12/1), who has been claimed five claimed five times this year, is racing for the second time under trainer Robert Hess’ watch. He has cashed in 10 of 14 starts at this distance and has two-second place showings at GPW. This is his first stakes race since February.

#6 Front Loaded (10/1) is another of Kanthoros' offspring of Kanthoros and he has hit the board in seven of his last eight starts, although this is a jump in class. He is 4-1-1-1 at GPW and has eight top-3 finishes in 13 starts at this distance.

#7 Shivaree (2/1) is coming off a long break having last raced on August 8 at Keeneland. Shivaree, who cuts back from a mile and one-sixteenth, has been training well decently well the last two outings. He is 4-2-1-1 at six furlongs and earned a victory in his lone previous start at GPW. Emisael Jaramillo, who has a 40% strike rate as the favorite, and trainer Ralph Nicks have won 24% of their races together over the past year.

Predicted order of finish: 1. Shivaree 2. Jackson 3. Front Loaded 4. Legal Deal 5. With Verve 6. Vinnie Van Go 4. As Seen On Tv
