The Kia Tigers and LG Twins face off on Saturday  in a KBO baseball showdown at Gwangju Kia Champions Field. In the first game of this series it was the Kia Tigers that were able to come away with the 4-3 victory. The Kia Tigers scored the walk-off in the 9th inning. 

The Kia Tigers come into this game with a 21-27 record overall which puts them in 8th place in the KBO standings. The Kia Tigers have won two of their last three games and even though they have been winning the offense hasn’t been as strong.  Hyoung-woo Choi has been the best player for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he has hit four home runs and driven in 15 RBI’s. 

On the other side of this matchup is the LG Twins who sit with 27 wins and 23 losses which puts them in 3rd place in the KBO. The LG Twins have gone 1-2 so far this week and each of the last two games have been decided by a run.  Hyun-soo Kim has been the best player for the LG Twins and coming into this game he has hit eight home runs and driven in 33 RBI’s. Roberto Ramos has also been strong this year hitting seven home runs and driving in 21 RBI’s. 

Andrew Suarez will get the start for the LG Twins and coming into this game he sits with a 6-2 record and an ERA of 2.01. 

Yu-sin Kim will get the start for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he sits with an 0-3 record and an ERA of 7.43. 

Kim has been awful this season and the LG Twins are going to take advantage of the situation. Suarez will be good in this game, and the LG Twins will come away with a victory on the run line.
