The Kia Tigers and LG Twins face off on Sunday.   in a KBO baseball showdown at Gwangju Kia Champions Field. In the first game of this series it was the Kia Tigers that were able to come away with the 4-3 victory. The Kia Tigers scored the walk-off in the 9th inning. 

In the second game of the series it was the LG Twins that got some revenge winning 8-2. 

The Kia Tigers come into this game with a 21-28 record overall which puts them in 8th place in the KBO standings. The Kia Tigers have won two of their last four games and the ofense has had some issues scoring runs. Hyoung-woo Choi has been the best player for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game he has hit four home runs and driven in 15 RBI’s. 

On the other side of this matchup is the LG Twins who sit with 28 wins and 23 losses which puts them in 3rd place in the KBO. The LG Twins have gone 2-2 so far this week and Saturday was the first game the offense really broke out.  Hyun-soo Kim has been the best player for the LG Twins and coming into this game he has hit eight home runs and driven in 33 RBI’s. Roberto Ramos has also been strong this year hitting seven home runs and driving in 21 RBI’s. 

Woo-chan Cha will be getting his first start of the season for the LG Twins. Last season, he finished with a 5-5 record and an ERA of 5.34. 

Min-woo Lee will get the start for the Kia Tigers and coming into this game has an 0-2 record and an ERA of 8.79. 

Cha wasn’t really strong last year and Lee has had all kinds of issues this season. Both offenses are going to find success in this game, and the over will cash with ease.
