The Toronto Blue Jays are terrible and it was evident again Saturday. Now Toronto heads back to the the Los Angeles Angels for their series finale, trying to avoid a four-game sweep. LA thumped the Jays 7-3 in game two with two huge innings.

The Angels carved up Esmil Rogers (3-6, 4.61 ERA) for seven runs, five earned, during five innings off 10 hits and one walk. Mark Trumbo's fielder's choice began Los Angeles' scoring. Erick Aybar's, Chris Nelson's and Howie Kendrick's single followed, along with Kole Calhoun's home run to drive in runs.

Toronto, conversely, struck first on a Brett Lawrie HR. Edwin Encarnacion's RBI-single and J.P. Arencibia's RBI-groundout followed.

The Blue Jays toss out Mark Buehrle (7-7, 4.27 ERA) next, hoping he can stymie the Angels himself. Buehrle may be able to, having helped Toronto to three shut-out July victories. On July 30 at the Oakland Athletics, Buehrle beat Oakland 5-0 with seven scoreless frames. Also at the Texas Rangers in mid-June, Buehrle won 8-0 via seven empty innings.

Then again, Buehrle took losses at the Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees twice, San Diego Padres and Tampa Bay Rays, allowing 26 runs, 25 earned, during 28.1 frames. LA is 16-of-55 with seven RBIs, three Aybar's, versus Buehrle.

C.J. Wilson (11-6, 3.48 ERA) retaliates for the Angels, looking to get back for his last start, which was a sloppy one at Texas. Fortunately for Wilson and Los Angeles, in Anaheim he's been superb, conceding 19 runs, 17 earned, during 59.1 innings. The Angels are 6-4 ,however, in Wilson's home outings.

Wilson is just 5-3 in Anaheim, but beat the Jays last May 5 with an eight-frame two-run gem. Toronto is 41-of-119 with 18 RBIs, three a piece from Melky Cabrera, Maicer Izturis and Adam Lind, against Wilson. Put a fork in the Blue Jays.
