The Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves face off on Tuesday in Washington for game two of the NL East series.
The Washington Nationals fought hard on Monday but they just weren’t good enough to get the win against the Braves. Wilson Ramos, Adam La Roche, Anthony Rendon, and Scott Hairston each had two hits as the Nationals scored two runs on nine hits. Starting pitcher Stephen Strasburg allowed five hits and two runs while striking out nine over 7.0 innings for a no decision as Tyler Clippard took the loss to fall to 6-2 on the season. For Tuesday’s game the Nationals start Gio Gonzalez who is coming off of a rare loss in his last start. For the season Gonzalez has allowed 113 hits and 53 earned runs while striking out 139 over 133.2 innings for a 7-4 record and a 3.57 ERA.

Once again scoring is going to be tough and for my free pick I like the under. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that strong pick in the Premium Area.
