The Chicago White Sox host the Minnesota Twins in game two of their doubleheader Friday.
It's hard to say what Minnesota will be doing for the remainder of 2013 because they are out of the American League Central race but are a team that could spoil the postseason aspirations of others. The talent is in place to go on a a few hot runs going forward, but who these runs come against is the $100,000 question. With veterans like Justin Morneau and Joe Mauer and a few young arms out to prove themselves, the Twins could be a dangerous team to contenders. Minnesota will be calling up Liam Hendricks to start in game two of their twin bill with the White Sox. Hendricks made a pair of starts in April, going 0-1 with a 4.66 ERA through 23.1 innings.

The White Sox have had the toughest season of any team in the American League Central and it got even tougher with the trade of Jake Peavy who was a leader in the rotation. Chicago has been out of the division race for quite some time, but this is a team that could ultimately decide who makes or doesn't make the playoffs. After all, the rotation has a few capable arms led by Chris Sale who is one of the best in the business, while the lineup has several veteran bats, so the CWS can not be over looked. Having said that, the team could also be in the mode of giving some younger players a look going forward so this could be a mystery team from here on out. The White Sox will be calling up Charles Leesman to start the night cap of their double header with Minnesota Friday. Leesman could be show casing his talents for the Chicago bull pen or another start.
No line is out yet for this one and it's probably because Vegas is still mulling this one over. I'll post when it's released so please check back...
