The horrific Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels play a rubber match Sunday in Anaheim.
Houston thrashed LA 8-2 on Friday while the Angels got payback during 10 innings on Saturday 6-5. Josh Hamilton's home run sent Los Angeles into a frenzy. The Angels got on the scoreboard initially during the bottom of the second on a Mark Trumbo HR. Brett Wallace's HR during the fifth evened things at four.

Chris Carter's double later during the frame gave Houston the lead 5-4. Erick Aybar's RBI-single made it 5-all. Aybar and Trumbo picked up third-inning RBIs as well with extra base hits. Wallace singled in the Astros' first run.
Houston takes their hacks next at Jason Vargas (6-5, 3.86 ERA) who the Astros are 8-of-31 with five RBIs against. Matt Dominguez is 2-of-2 with three RBIs versus Vargas. At Houston on May 9 LA prevailed 6-5 despite the Astros rounding in five runs during 5.2 frames.
In Anaheim Vargas is 5-1 defeating the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royas, Los Angeles Dodgers and Seattle Mariners allowing six runs during 36 innings. On April 11 the Oakland Athletics darted in five runs during 5.2 frames to beat Vargas 8-1 at Angels Stadium.
Brett Oberholtzer (2-1, 2.57 ERA) returns to the mound where he hopes to avoid another Aug. 12 fortune. The Texas Rangers toppled Oberholtzer 2-1 despite him giving up two runs during 6.2 innings. At the Baltimore Orioles July 31 though Oberholtzer shutout Baltimore for seven frames in an 11-0 victory. Houston is 2-4 with Oberholtzer on the hill.
