The Seattle Mariners hope Tuesday's tussle with the Oakland Athletics carries over in Oakland on Wednesday.
The A's led 4-0 after one yet lost 7-2. A five-run M's eighth inning turned the momentum to Seattle. Brad Miller's and Nick Franklin's RBI-singles tied things up with Oakland who completely unraveled with two Ryan Cook (5-2, 2.10 ERA) wild pitches.

Kendrys Morales also knocked in a run for the Mariners who got on the scoreboard initially with Franklin's home run. Derek Norris' RBI-single, Josh Donaldson's HR and Nate Freiman's HR drove in all of the Athletics' runs.
A.J. Griffin (10-8, 3.76 ERA) tosses next for Oakland on Wednesday. Griffin is 5-3 at O.co Colisum falling to the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle and Texas Rangers 7-3, 4-0 and 4-0.
Griffin surrendered 12 runs, 11 earned, during 19.2 innings. Griffin's O.co victories came courtesy of him conceding seven runs during 37 frames. The M's were beaten 8-2 by Griffin on April 4 scoring twice during six innings. Seattle was able to capture revenge in mid-July at O.co Coliseum, but is still a meager 21-of-83 with eight RBIs versus Griffin all-time. Henry Blanco has four of the runs driven in.
The Mariners come back with Hisashi Iwakuma (11-6, 2.95 ERA). Seattle is 6-6 on the road when Iwakuma hurls including 3-3 against the American League West. At the A's April 2 Iwakuma conceded a run during six frames to win 7-1.
Iwakuma also toppled Oakland 6-3 with seven two-run innings May 10. However, in back-to-back June outings the Athletics beat Iwakuma 10-2 and 6-3 pouring eight runs during 12 frames. Versus Iwakuma Oakland is 24-of-113 with 16 RBIs, a nickel of them from Yoenis Cespedes. I like the A's ever so slightly more than the M's Wednesday afternoon.
