The Los Angeles Angels can complete a three-game sweep at the Seattle Mariners with another win Sunday in Seattle.
LA walloped the M's 5-1 on Saturday. The Angels only had two more hits than Seattle, 11-9. Los Angeles, though, scored once on right fielder Eric Chavez's error. Mike Trout knocked in the first two runs right away by going yard.

The Angels also scored twice during the eighth off of Kole Calhoun's triple and Chris Nelson's single. The Mariners tallied their only run on Nick Franklin's groundout a frame earlier.
Aaron Harang (5-10, 5.49 ERA) tries to prevent Seattle from being swept by LA at Safeco Field on Sunday. The M's were beaten by one run apiece in Harang's last two starts. Fortunately Seattle beat the Toronto Blue Jays Aug. 7 in Harang's last home appearance, an auspicious two-inning seven-run showing. Harang is 4-5 at Safeco overall, with the Mariners 6-6 whenever he tosses in Seattle this year. Harang has been defeated by the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, LA, Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees, yielding 22 runs during 20.1 frames.
Harang's Safeco Field victories have come over the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros and San Diego Padres, conceding three runs during 31 innings. The Angels also bloodied Harang 11-3 and 12-0 on May 21 and June 17 in Anaheim, hanging in a total of 11 runs, eight earned, during 8.2 frames. Considering Los Angeles drove in five runs during three innings at Safeco, the M's will likely need to score a lot just to stay close. The Angels are 57-of-163 with 33 RBIs against Harang, 16 by Albert Pujols.
LA replies with Jered Weaver (7-7, 3.62 ERA) Sunday. The Angels are 3-5 when Weaver unwinds on the road. Weaver's been beaten at Baltimore, NY, Seattle and the Texas Rangers, surrendering 22 runs during 21.1 frames. Weaver's lone away victory came at Cleveland Aug. 19, allowing two runs during seven frames.
The Mariners whipped in four runs during 5.2 innings July 13 to topple Weaver 6-0. Raul Ibanez and Justin Smoak have smoked in seven RBIs each against Weaver, who has given up 27 RBIs to Seattle as a whole in 198 at-bats. The M's have 56 hits. If Seattle doesn't score at least five runs, Los Angeles should win comfortably.
