The Boston Red Sox host the Chicago White Sox in a Sunday afternoon bout at Fenway Park.
The White Sox have been playing their best baseball of 2013, with a few young faces doing a pretty good job. Whether it continues or not remains to be seen, but the past two nights haven't ended well, with defeats at Boston. Saturday's 7-2 loss was tied 2-2 in the third before the roof fell in, with John Danks charged with six runs (five earned) on eleven hits and a BB over five innings. The offense couldn't come back on five hits and two free passes that saw Alejandro De Aza and Avisail Garcia drive in runs. Andre Rienzo toes the rubber in the final game of the series in Boston. The rookie has made six starts and is 1-0 with five no decisions, as the run support and relief corps have hurt him on a few occasions.

The Red Sox are on a roll and the slow down many have expected hasn't reared it's ugly head as of yet. If it doesn't soon, Boston might be hoisting the American League East title. Following Saturday's victory over the visiting White Sox, the team has won eight of eleven with the work on the mound and at the plate being solid all around. Jake Peavy tossed another gem against his former team, with both runs plated on five hits and a base on balls covering seven innings of work. The bats totaled 15 hits and walked four times, with six players driving in runs and seven scoring. Left-hander Felix Doubront shoots for win number three in a row when he faces the White Sox. Doubront has been at his best the last two times out, with three runs plated on nine hits and two BB in 14.2 innings.
This won't be an easy one for Boston if Chicago can get back in the groove right away. The odds are awful, which I guess should be expected, but I'm really not a Doubront fan, so take this with a grain of salt...
