The Baltimore Orioles look for the series win versus the Toronto Blue Jays in Sunday action.
Baltimore won't be making a late season run at the American League East and might be fading out of the Wild Card race as well. A day after coming back from a 3-0 hole in Toronto to win, the tables were turned with the Blue Jays coming from behind late to hand the O's a 4-3 defeat. Starter Chris Tillman failed in his bid for win number 17 with all four runs allowed on six hits and a pair of free passes in an eight inng complete game. The bats totaled eight hits with Manny Machado leading the way with a solo homer while scoring twice. The Orioles send Miguel Gonzalez to the bump to face the Blue Jays on Sunday. Gonzalez didn't get a decision in a 7-5 loss to the Yankees last time out with three runs allowed over six frames.

Toronto might not be sniffing the postseason in 2013 and they just might take Baltimore with them after Saturday's come from behind victory. The Jays fell to the Orioles in the series opener with Baltimore erasing an early lead but the home team reversed the tables with a pair of 7th inning runs to secure the win. Starter Esmil Rogers over came a poor start to give up all three runs on five hits through six frames while striking out seven. Moises Siera drove in a pair of runs with a double and Colby Rasmus won it with a two run bomb in the 7th. Veteran left hander Mark Buehrle toes the rubber against visiting Baltimore on Sunday. Buehrle has to bounce back from a 12-6 loss to the Angels with eight runs plated on 12 hits in four innings.
I think that once you have confidence in either team you are bound to be disappointed. Having said that I don't have a lot of faith in backing the Orioles here...
