The Chicago White Sox and the Minnesota Twins face off on Wednesday as they continue their series in Chicago.
The Chicago White Sox are trying to finish strong and as bad as the season was they might carry at least some hope into the off season. On Tuesday Dayan Viciedo had three hits, Alejandro De Aza had two hits, and Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko each had hits as the White Sox scored four runs on 11 hits. Starting pitcher Jose Quintana allowed eight hits and a runs while striking out five over 6.0 innings to get the win and Addison Reed earned his 38th save. For Wednesday’s game the White Sox start John Danks who is 4-13 on the season with a 4.73 ERA and he lost his last three starts.

The Minnesota Twins have started the rebuilding early this year and they look to be playing for the future. Trevor Plouffe and Ryan Doumit each had two hits and Brian Dozier had three hits. Starting pitcher Mike Pelfrey allowed bine hits and three runs while stirking out six to fall to 5-13 on the season. For Wednesday’s game the Twins start Scott Diamond who is 5-11 on the season with a 5.61 ERA and he has lost his last five decisions.
Both of these teas have done some house cleaning and are playing for next year but in this one I give the edge to the White Sox who have finally been playing well fairly recently.
