The Toronto Blue Jays and the Rogers Center host the Houston Astros in game two of their series.
Of course it's too soon to say Houston is in trouble but it certainly doesn't look good with runs being extremely difficult to come by. The offensive woes continued in Tuesday's 5-2 defeat at the Rogers Center. Brett Oberholtzer wasn't great but kept his team within striking distance with three runs plated on three hits and three BB through 5.1 innings with Kevin Chapman letting this get out of reach with a pair of runs scored in one frame. The Astros posted nine hits with Jose Altuve and Matt Dominguez driving in runs. Lucas Harrell gets the ball Wednesday versus the Blue Jays hoping to bounce back from an 11-1 defeat at the hands of the Angels. Harrell gave up five runs on five hits and a trio of BB over three frames.

Toronto hasn't been lighting up the scoreboard in the early going but didn't need a whole lot when they took the field against visiting Houston who was struggling even more to find some scoring. Veteran Mark Buehrle squirmed out of a few tight spots with only a run allowed on eight hits and a walk over 5.1 frames to improve to 2-0. Four relievers closed it out and the offense scored some runs for a change. The bats totaled five hits and walked six times with Melky Cabrera and Jose Bautista leaving the yard while Dion Navarro knocked in a pair of runs. Brandon Morrow will be on the mound Wednesday hoping to get in the win column against the visiting Astros. Morrow dropped a 7-2 decision to Tampa Bay first time out where he was charged with four runs on seven hits in five innings.
There really isn't much to like about the match up on the mound so I'm looking at which team is likely to score some runs and I guess that's Toronto but I don't like the price...
