Chirs Johnson had three hits, Freddie Freeman had two hits including a home run, and B.J. Upton and Dan Uggla each had two hits as the Braves scored six runs on 12 hits. Aaron Harang had a no hitter going when he left the game striking out five and walking six over 7.0 innings. For Saturday’s game the Braves start Ervin Santana who had a no decision in his last start. For the season Santana has allowed seven hits and a run while strikingout 17 over 14 innings for a 1-0 record and a 0.64 ERA.
New York is 4-2 in their last six games, 3-9 in their last 12 home games, and 16-50 as home underdog. Atlanta is 5-1 in their last six games, 6-2 in their last eight road games, and 7-13 in their last 20 road games against a team with a winning record.
The total is set at 7.5 and it is just a small lean to the under.
