For game one against the Marlins the Braves start Julio Teheran who has won his last two decisions. The Miami Marlins have strung some wins together over the weekend and are now just a game under .500 for the year. The Marlins are 0-6 on the road, 4-6 in their last 10 games, and they have won their last three games in a row. As a team Miami is hitting .279 with Christian Yelich hitting .333, Marcell Ozuna hitting .333, Adeiny Hechavarria hitting .310, and Giancarlo Stanton hitting .303. For game one in Atlanta the Marlins start Tom Koehler who allowed one hit and no runs in his last start. For the season Koehler has allowed 13 hits and four runs while striking out 10 over 19 innings for a 2-1 record and a 1.89 ERA.
