The San Francisco Giants and the Atlanta Braves face off on Monday at AT&T Park in San Francisco for game one of their series of NL division leaders.
The San Francisco Giants took care of business over the weekend against the Dodgers and they continue to lead the NL West. The Giants are 10-5 at home this season, 7-3 in their last 10 games, and they have a two game lead over the Rockies. As a team the Giants are hitting .238 with Angel Pagan hitting .314, Buster Posey hitting .306, and Michael Morse hitting .273. The Giants pitching staff has an ERA of 3.10 with the starters at 3.67 and the bullpen at 2.02. For game one against the Braves the Giants starts Tim Lincecum who is coming off of a loss in his last start. For the season Lincecum has allowed 50 hits and 22 earned runs while striking out 35 over 35.2 innings for a 2-2 record and a 5.55 ERA.

The Atlanta Braves had a rough week last week but they swept the Cubs over the weekend and lead the NL East. The Braves are 8-7 on the road, 4-6 in their last 10 games, and they have won their last three games. As a team the Braves are hitting .234 with Freddie Freeman hitting .302, Justin Upton hitting .296, and Chris Johnson hitting .279. The Braves pitching staff has an ERA of 2.66 with the starters at 2.54 and the bullpen at 2.97. For game one against the Giants the Braves start Gavin Floyd who makes his second start of the year. In his first start Floyd allowed six hits and one run while striking out five over 7.0 innings to get a no decision.
The Giants are 4-0 against the NL East, 5-1 in their last six home games, and 4-1 in Lincecum’s last five starts. Atlanta is 4- in their last 12 games, 5-2 as a road underdog, and 0-5 against the NL West. Atlanta is 2-7 in their last nine games against San Francisco.
