The Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami Marlins continue their weekday series at Dodger Stadium Tuesday night.
The west coast road swing hasn't been kind to Miami and in general the road hasn't been a good place with the Marlins winning four times away from home on the season. The struggles on the road continued in a 6-5 loss at Los Angeles where the pitching fell apart. Starter Tom Koehler was tagged for four runs on six hits and five walks in just 3.2 frames with Henry Rodriguez charged with two runs on a pair of hits and another four BB. The Fish mustered eight hits with Christian Yelich and Reed ohnson homering while Giancarlo Stanton drove in a pair. Jacob Turner draws Tuesday's start against the dangerous offense of the Dodgers. Turner would like to duplicate his last outing when he beat San Diego 3-1 with the lone run scored on five hits in six innings.

The slumping Dodgers need a few positives to stay in the shadow of San Francisco in the National League West. They took a step towards that goal with Monday's decision over visiting Miami for their fourth win in eleven contests. Dan Haren tossed seven strong innings with three runs plated on seven hits in seven innings before Brian Wilson aallowed two more in the 8th to make things too close for comfort. The LAD offens posted ten hits and walked a whopping ten times with Yasiel Puig slugging a three run homer and knocking in four. Veteran Josh Beckett looks to continue his hot pitching when he toes the rubber versus the Marlins. Beckett is 0-1 in six starts with a 2.80 ERA with 25 hits allowed over 35.1 innings of work.
Turner is sort of a mystery in just his third start because of injury while Beckett has been outstanding so far. Beckett seems to be pitching better then I expected but I don't know if it will last. I don't care for either squad so I'll go with the best odds...
