The San Francisco Giants look to keep piling up the wins with another win over the Miami Marlins.
Miami was the hottest team in the National League East a few short weeks ago but things have changed for the worse with losses in six of seven after a 6-4 loss at San Francisco on Thursday. The Fish took an early 3-0 lead but starter Nathan Eovaldi couldn't hold it with all six runs given up on nine hits and a pair of BB in 4.1 innings. Miami posted six hits and walked three times with Garrett Jones smacking a two run homer while Derek Dietrich went solo. The Marlins send Henderson Alverez to the bump to slow down the red hot Giants offense. Alverez struggled in his last outing in a 5-4 loss to San Diego with all five runs scored on seven hits and three BB in four innings.

Veteran Tim Hudson looks to continue his hot pitching that has seen him log quality starts in seven of his eight outings. Hudson is 4-2 with a 2.09 ERA covering 60.1 innings of work.
Henderson has been up and down lately but Hudson looks as good as ever so the edge on the mound goes to the Giants. Combined with their clutch work at the plate and I am looking at the home team...
