The Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles face off on Sunday in Kansas City as they close out their four game series.

The Baltimore Orioles got the best of the Royals the first two games of their series but they couldn’t lay a bat on them on Saturday as they fell in KC. Manny Machado, Adam Jones, and Nelson Cruz each had hits as the Orioles failed to score on three hits. Starting pitcher Bud Norris allowed four hits and a run over 7.1 innings to take the loss and fall to 2-4 fro the season. On Sunday the Orioles start Ubaldo Jimenez who has won his last two decisions. For the season Jimenez has allowed 46 hits and 21 earned runs while striking out 41 over 47 innings for a 2-4 record and 4.02 ERA.
Kansas City is 8-3 in game four of a series, 2-6 in their last eight home games, and 23-9 in Shields’ last 32 starts. Baltimore is 5-1 in their last six road games, 2-6 against the AL Central, and 2-6 in Jimenez’s last eight starts.
Shields is just in the zone right now and when he is there he is one of the best in the game and I like the Royals to get the win here.
