David Ortiz hit a home run, Brock Holt had two hits, and Dustin Pedroia had a hit and two RBI’s as the Red Sox scored eight runs on seven hits. Starting pitcher Clay Buchholz allowed four hits and six runs while walking eight batters and striking out four over 3.0 innings to get a no decision as Edward Mujica got the win and Koji Uehara earned his 10th save. For Tuesday’s game the Red Sox start Jon Lester who has lost his last two starts. For the season Lester has allowed 61 hits and 25 earned runs while striking out 76 over 67 innings for a 4-6 record and a 3.36 ERA.
