The Chicago White Sox look to end their series in Los Angeles with a victory over the Angels.
Many would say the White Sox are a pesky squad which is true but I would take it a step further and say may this is a decent squad. The offense might be a bit on the quiet side lately but the work on the mound has been getting the job done. Everything went as planned Saturday with Chris Sale leading 5-0 in the 8th versus the Angels before Los Angeles exploded for six runs for a 6-5 defeat. Sale gave up five runs including a grand slam while the offense received a solo jack from Adam Dunn with Alejandro De Aza drove in two. Lefty Jose Quintana faces the Angels for the second straight time. Quintana dropped a 7-2 decision to Los Angeles with five unearned runs plated in six innings.

The Angels charge to the top of the American League West came up just a bit short a week or so ago and since then Los Angeles has been losing ground with losses in seven of ten bats and arms struggling. The struggles continued in Saturday until the 8th where everything turned golden. Matt Shoemaker gave up four runs over five frames and got off the hook thanks to the miracle 8th. The bats logged ten hits but the big blow was a grand slam off the bat of Mike Trout. The question is can this momentum carry over to Sunday. Veteran left hander CJ Wilson toes the rubber in the series final game with the White Sox. Wilson is 6-5 with a 3.52 ERA in 12 outings
I can say two things; I'm shocked by what happened Saturday and won't touch this game so take this for what it's worth and that's not much...
