The Milwaukee Brewers take their winning ways to Coors Field to face the Colorado Rockies.

Milwaukee is back to playing well and that is making them difficult to catch in the National League Central. The Brew Crew posted their 7th win in eleven contests following a 4-1 victory at Arizona on Thursday. Yovani Galardo improved to 5-4 with the lone run given up on five hits over seven frames. The bats took care of the rest with a nine hit attack that received an RBI and run from Aramis Ramirez and Lyle Overbay. A struggling Marco Estrada looks to right the ship when he takes the bump at Coors Field Friday. Estrada has dropped three in a row with 15 runs scored on 18 hits including six homers in 17 frames.

The hot and cold Rockies are cold again and are now third in the National League West and can't afford to be inconsistent with the Dodgers and Giants too good. The generally reliable offense has struggled in three straight defeats after being no hit by Clayton Kershaw in an 8-0 defeat on Wednesday. There were plenty of struggles on the mound as well with starter Jorge De La Rosa having the issues. De La Rosa was charged with all eight runs on six hits and five bases on balls in just 3.1 innings pitched. Of course it didn't matter with Kershaw striking out 15 with one runner reaching base on an error. Rookie Christian Bergman makes his third career start against the dangerous offense of visiting Milwaukee. Bergman is 0-1 with a 3.75 ERA in 12 innings of work.

Estrada has been beyond awful as of late while Bergman has done well in his two outings. I don't think I'll touch this but for now I'll back the team in first as a dog...
