The Cincinnati Reds look for consecutive wins over the Toronto Blue Jays in interleague action.

Toronto couldn't carry over the momentum of Friday's big comeback win at Cincinnati as their bats fell silent in an 11-1 defeat at Great American Ball Park Saturday. The Jays have now dropped eight of eleven and have the Yankees and Orioles hot on their trail. The Blu Jays simply didn't have anything going for them and it started on the mound with JA Happ allowing eight runs in four innings with Rob Rasmussen tagged for three more. The bats totaled just four hits with Colby Rasmus clubbing his 10th bomb. Knuckleballer RA Dickey takes the hill against the heavy hitting Reds on Sunday. Dickey has been a bit up and down at times in 2014 with a 6-5 record and 4.08 ERA in 15 outings.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Toronto Blue Jays Pick-Odds-Prediction - 6/22/14

Cincinnati showed no ill effects from Friday night's meltdown as they out their frustration on the Jays Saturday. The Reds are on the verge of turning the season around with victories in seven of eleven after the rout of Toronto that received eight strong innings of one run ball from Mike Leake who improved to 5-6. Jay Bruce went solo and Devin Mesoraco clubbed a three run homer while Ryan Ludwick contributed a two run single as the Reds attack has now plated 20 runs the last two days. Ace Johnny Cueto will be on the bump in the final game of the series with the Blue Jays. Cueto has been a tough luck hurler with a 6-5 record in 15 starts that belies his sparkling 1.92 ERA.

This is the dangerous Cincinnati offense we have been waiting to see although the Blue Jays showed they can score with any team in Friday's slug fest. I am hoping the Reds do most of the scoring Sunday and Cueto controls the visiting Jays...
