The Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals continue their series at Kauffman Stadium on Saturday.
The Angels don't appear to be going away anytime soon in the American League West race which is causing Oakland a little anxiety. Los Angeles has been surging but saw a six game winning streak end in an 8-6 defeat to the Royals on Friday. Matt Shoemaker struggled early with all eight runs plated on eleven hits over four innings to drop his record to 5-2. The LAA totaled nine hits with CJ Cron smacking two long balls and driving in three while Mike Trout went solo. Left hander Hector Santiago takes the ball versus Kansas City at Kauffman Stadium Saturday. Santiago is still searching for his first win as he stands at 0-7 with a 4.41 ERA.
