The Red Sox simply haven't been able to get on a roll where everything is clicking and the result has been last place in the American League East. The trend continued and Brandon Workman saw a decent effort go for naught Tuesday. Workman was charged with all five runs but only three were earned over seven innings pitched. The offense had their opportunities on a ten hit, four walk attack but received RBI's from Dustin Pedroia, Mike Napoli and Xander Bogaerts. Rubby De La Rosa makes just his 6th start of 2014 when he takes the hill against the White Sox Wednesday. De La Rosa has done well with a 2-2 record with a 2.51 ERA.
De La Rosa has done well in limited opportunities but Sale has done great in many chances so I'll back him here...
