The Tampa Bay Rays hope to continue winning ways against the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Jays have been on a slow side since their stay atop the AL East as their offense has struggled for consistency and the pitching hasn't been able to carry the load with defeats in seven of eleven. Both had issues in a 10-3 loss at Tampa Bay Saturday with Drew Hutchison giving up six runs in 5.1 frames before JA Happ and Sergio Santos allowing two runs each in 1.2 innings. The bats totaled nine hits with three players driving in runs with Juan Francisco recording an RBI and scoring. The Blue Jays look to RA Dickey to control the Tampa Bay attack on Sunday at Tropicana Field. Dickey hopes to duplicate his last outing where he defeated the Angels 4-0 with seven shutout frames.

Tampa Bay appeared ready to trade ace David Price when they had the worse record in baseball but they might have had second thoughts when the wins started piling up. The Rays are looking to head in to the All Star break with consecutive victories after Saturday's offensive explosion with a helping hand from the mound from Jake Odorizzi. Odorizzi allowed all three runs (two earned) on six hits through 6.2 innings pitched. The Rays pounded out 12 hits and walked eight times with Kevin Kiermaier knocked in three runs and scored twice with Matt Joyce knocking in three as well while Ben Zobrist plated two more. Left hander David Price is scheduled to be on the hill to squareoff with the Blue Jays. Price has won three in a row with four runs plated on 16 hits covering 24 innings of work.
Price missed Saturday's start because of an illness and if he is 100% I'll back Tampa Bay but I won't know that...
