Minnesota has a shot of reaching .500 on paper but I'm not sure if their fans are convince this can be reached. The Twins simply don't string wins together and struggle to stay hot so winning streaks are few. The Twins finally found a way to beat Oakland with a 6-1 decision Sunday behind solid scoring and great pitching. Phil Hughes limited the heavy hitting A's to a run over seven innings while the bats totaled ten hits and rode long balls and two RBI's each from Brian Dozier and Josh Willingham. Minnesota turns to lefty Tommy Milone who makes his first start since coming over from Oakland. With the A's Milone went 6-3 with a 3.55 ERA over 16 outings where his former team went 9-7.

You can never be completely confident in Houston as they beat Yu Darvish handily on Saturday only to follow up with a 6-2 defeat with one of their best hurlers on the mound. Dallas Keuchel struggled in a big way with five runs plated on six hits and a trio of bases on balls through six innings pitched to fall to 10-8. The offense mustered six hits and walked three times with Chris Carter and Jason Castro driving in runs that gave Houston a 2-0 lead after three frames that quickly evaporated. Brad Peacock is scheduled to be on the bump in game number one of their series with Minnesota. Peacock has struggled the last three times out with 16 runs allowed on 16 hits including five homers over nine innings.
I think Milone is the better option on the mound but if you watch these teams there really is no such thing as an edge...
