Progressive Field and the Cleveland Indians host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.
Even though the Diamondbacks are better right now then the team that struggled to get going early in the season they are having problems getting wins right now. The Snakes have dropped seven of eleven after a 5-3, ten inning loss to visiting Colorado on Sunday. Wade Miley received a ND with three runs scored over six frames with the loss going to Oliver Perez who gave up two runs in the 10th. Zona posted eight hits with Mark Trumbo driving in two. The Diamondbacks go with Josh Collmenter to the hill in the series opener with the Indians. Collmenter is 8-6 on the year with a 4.09 ERA while Arizona has gone 13-7 in his outings.

The Indians probably are going nowhere in the American League Central unless both Detroit and Kansas City fall off the map. The Tribe are a team that can hang with anybody but the problem is staying consistent over the long haul. Cleveland is looking to build on back to back wins after knocking of the Yankees 4-1 on Sunday in the series rubber match. Starter Carlos Carrasco had been struggling but tossed five scoreless frames with only a pair of hits allowed to even his record at 4-4. The offense didn't waste that performance with Michael Brantley and Yan Gomes knocking in a pair of runs each. Left hander TJ House gets the call to the mound for the Indians in Tuesday's match up with Arizona. House is coming in off of a 4-0 loss to Cincinnati in which he gave up all four runs (three earned) over six frames.
I think House is the wild card in this match up and if is competitive I give the Indians offense the advantage...
