The Milwaukee Brewers look to stay hot with the Toronto Blue Jays taking the field at Miller Park.
The Toronto Blue Jays have been red hot and ice cold in 2014 and right now it's the latter with defeats in eight of eleven after a 6-1 road loss at Miller Park Tuesday. Nothing went favorably for the Blue Jays with JA Happ struggling early with four runs plated on six hits and four BB over 3.1 frames to fall to 8-8. The offense didn't provide much of a spark on just two hits with Munenori Kawasaki driving in Dioner Navarro with the lone run. Knuckleballer RA Dickey faces the Milwaukee Brewers for the first time since 2011. Dickey has been up and down on the season with a 9-12 record with an ERA just south of four in 26 starts.

The Milwaukee Brewers are hot once again as they try to pull away fron the rest of the National League Central. The Brew Crew have rattled off five straight and eight of eleven following Tuesday's victory over visiting Toronto. Milwaukee received another strong effort on the mound from Mike Fiers who gave up the only run through seven innings to improve to 3-1. The Brew Crew totaled ten hits including seven doubles with Khris Davis knocking in two while Jonathan Lucroy scoring twice. Jimmy Nelson toes the rubber versus the Toronto Blue Jays for the first time in his short career. Nelson has thrown the ball well with a 2-3 record and 3.86 ERA covering seven 2013 outings.
Toronto is in a slide but Nelson doesn't have a ton of experience and is a righty which the Jays hit well. I just find it difficult to go against a hot team...
