The Los Angeles Dodgers were red hot over the second half of 2013 but we haven't seen any long hots streaks from this team yet. The pitching and hitting have been okay but not dominant for any length of time. The pitching was the bright spot in the series opening win over the visiting Diamondbacks. Dan Haren was in top form with the lone run scored through six innings to get the win. The Dodgers received seven hits and walked twice with Matt Kemp going solo while Hanle Ramirez posted an RBI single. Veteran Zack Greinke toes the rubber versus the Arizona Diamondbacks for the 4th time on the season. Greinke has been rock solid over his last six times out where he has allowed no more then two runs.
Los Angeles is the better team which is a no brainer but their offense is truly ordinary which makes this team a less then great bet especially when laying chalk...
