The Los Angeles Angels have been in cruise control with the season end in sight with the American League West in their grasp. The Angels pitching seven relievers looked good for four innings with Cory Rasmus throwing scoreless ball but Jason Grilli, Fernando Salas and Michael Roth were charged 12 runs and even the big offense of Los Angeles couldn't come to the rescue. The Angels countered with six hits and a pair of bases on balls with Albert Pujols and David Freese driving in runs. Veteran left hander CJ Wilson gets the call to the mound versus the Seattle Mariners for the third time. Wilson has been tough to nail down with his 12-9 record and 4.61 ERA over 28 starts.
As I said before Wilson is so difficult to nail down as he has really struggled at times and has done so enough where it can be a guess. I'm backing Seattle but I'm not thrilled about going against their offense...
