The Detroit Tigers begin the final week of the season with a visit from the Chicago White Sox.
The Chicago White Sox are not a team you want to face when they are hitting the ball and they certainly hit the ball Sunday in a 10-5 rout of Tampa Bay for their 7th win in ten contests. Lefty John Danks came up big on the hill with a pair of runs plated over six frames to up his record to 10-11. The White Sox pounded out 12 hits and walked five times that was ignited by the long ball. Avisail Garcia smacked a pair of solo jacks with Marcus Sieman going deep and driving in three while Alexei Ramirez knocked in two more. The White Sox go with rookie Chris Bassitt on the hill who makes his 4th career start and second against the Detroit Tigers. Bassitt dropped an 8-4 decision the first time out versus the Tigers with five runs plated in 6.1 frames.

The Detroit Tigers drive to the to win the American League Central took a step back in Sunday's 5-2 loss at Kansas City. Starter Rick Porcello struggled early with four runs plated on nine hits through 3.1 innings to fall to 15-13. That was to much for the offense to counter with a six hit two walk attack. Ian Kinsler slammed his 16th homer and JD Martinez went 2-4 with a pair of runs to pace an otherwise quiet day at the plate. Rookie Kyle Lobstein makes his 5th career start when he opposes the Chicago White Sox for the first time. Lobstein is 1-0 with a 3.58 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP covering his four starts which were all won by Detroit.
I will make this short...neither pitcher has a track record for me to make an educated decision so I will bypass this altogether but for a pick...
