The Los Angeles Dodgers look to even their series with the Arizona Diamondbacks Saturday.
The Los Angeles Dodgers failed to get their offense going in the series opener at Arizona and it resulted in a 4-3, ten inning loss. In the process a strong performance on the Mound from Brett Anderson went for naught. Anderson gave up three runs on five hits over six innings before JP Howell gave up a run in the bottom of the 10th to take the loss. The Dodgers posted eight hits and walked three times with Jimmy Rollins lashing a two run double while Yasmani Grandal clubbed his first homer.Clayton Kershaw takes the ball on Saturday looking to get his first win of 2015. Kershaw is coming off of a ND against San Diego where he gave up three runs on six hits while striking out nine over six frames in a 6-3 win.

The Arizona Diamondbacks need strong performances at the plate and on the mound to be competitive on a consistent basis. They barely got enough from both in Friday’s 4-3 win against defending NL West champion Los Angeles in a ten inning thriller. Chase Anderson gave up three runs on five hits and three bases on balls through five frames for a no decision with Oliver Perez getting the win with a scoreless 10th. The Snakes totaled seven hits and four walks with Paul Goldschmidt slamming a three run homer to stake the Diamondbacks to an early 3-0 lead. Ender Inciarte knocked in the game winner and also scored in front of Goldschmidt’s bomb. Rookie Archie Bradley makes his major league debut for the Diamondbacks against the rival Dodgers. Bradley is the Snakes top pitching prospect and gets the opportunity to make the rotation.
The over is 10-2-1 in the Dodgers last 13 road games and 19-5-2 in LA last 26 games as a favorite while going 7-2 in LA last 9 during game 2 of a series. Arizona are 2-6 in their last 8 home games and 15-36 in their last 51 games as an underdog while going 16-37 in their last 53 overall. Head to head the Dodgers are 9-2 in the last 11 meetings in Arizona and 22-7 in the last 29 meetings. I have no clue what to expect from Bradley so I’ll go with the best in the game…
