Detroit Tigers vs. Houston Astros - 5/21/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Detroit Tigers are looking to get back to their winning ways after dropping three in a row. The Tigers snapped their skid in a 5-2 victory against visiting Milwaukee on Wednesday night behind great work on the mound and some late scoring. Starter Shane Greene held the Brewers to two runs on three hits and two free passes through 6.1 frames for a no decision. The Tigers totaled ten hits and walked four times with Nick Castellanos swing the big bat with a 2-4 night producing four RBI’s while JD Martinez and Yoenis Cespedes scoring twice. Left hander David Price gets the ball in game one of their series with the Astros. Price did not get a decision in a 4-3 win at St Louis where he was charged with three solo homers over 6.2 innings pitched.

Houston are 8-2 in their last 10 road games and  are 22-8 in their last 30 overall while going  22-8 in their last 30 games on grass. The under is 7-3 in Detroit’s last 10 overall and  is 7-3 in their last 10 on grass while the Tigers are 13-6 in their last 19 Thursday games. Houston are 2-9 in the last 11 meetings in Detroit and are 4-11 in the last 11 meetings. Price had better keep the ball in the park because Houston can hit homeruns….
