The Colorado Rockies conclude their visit at Great American Ball Park versus the Cincinnati Reds.
The Colorado Rockies have been fade material for most of 2015 but they have shown some positive signs lately. Despite Tuesday’s 2-1 loss at Cincinnati that snapped a three game winning streak the Rockies have been playing well. Starter Christopher Rusin gave up a run on four hits and four free passes over seven frames for a no decision with Brooks Brown charged with a run in 1.1 frames to take the loss. The Rockies four hit, four walk attack produced Nick Hundley’s 5th homer. Kyle Kendrick shoots for his second win of the season when he opposes the Reds. Kendrick is coming off of an 11-8 loss to San Francisco with four runs plated on five hits and three walks in 6.1 frames.

Mike Leake looks to right the ship when he toes the rubber against Colorado on Wednesday. Leake had begun the season hot but over the past two outings he has allowed 14 runs on 18 hits and six BB over nine innings.
Colorado are 16-51 in their last 67 road games and are 7-17 in their last 24 overall while going 7-17 in their last 24 games on grass. Cincinnati are 0-9 in their last 9 overall and are 0-9 in their last 9 games on grass while the under is 8-3 in the Reds last 11 Wednesday games. The over is 10-2-1 in the last 13 meetings. The choices here are a Reds club that has one win in ten games or Colorado and Kendrick which is the definition of being between a rock and a hard place…
