Wilson allowed four hits and five runs while striking out seven over 6.0 innings to take the loss and fall to 3-4 for the season. For Wednesday’s game the Angels start hector Santiago who has allowed 48 hits and 15 earned runs while striking out 57 over 62 innings for a 4-3 record and a 2.18 ERA.

The Tampa Bay Rays got started early on Tuesday and never looked back beating the Angels in Anaheim. Logan Forsythe hit a home run, Asdrubal Cabrera had two hits, and Joey Butler had a hit as the Rays scored six runs on six hits. Starting pitcher Chris Archer allowed six hits and a run while striking out 15 over 8.0 innings to get the win and go to 6-4 for the season. For Wednesday’s game the Rays start Nathan Karns who has allowed 40 hits and 21 earned runs while striking out 53 over 57 innings for a 3-2 record and a 3.32 ERA.
Los Angeles is 5-1 in their last six games, 7-3 as a home favorite, and 1-5 in Santiago’s last six starts against the AL East. Tampa Bay is 8-3 in their last 11 game three of a series, 3-7 in their last 10 games, and 1-6 against the AL West. Tampa Bay is 2-5 in their last seven games against Los Angeles.
