The Line: Baltimore Orioles -108 / Boston Red Sox -102 --- Over/Under: 7.5 See the Latest Odds

The Baltimore Orioles welcome the Boston Red Sox to Camden Yards to open a weekday series.

The Boston Red Sox have gone nowhere thus far and fortunately nobody in the American League East have pulled away yet. The Red Sox had been showing some signs of life lately but needed a late rally to defeat visiting Oakland Sunday. Starter Clay Buchholz struggled with all four runs plated on ten hits and a pair of BB through 4.2 innings. The bats totaled 13 hits with most coming in a seven rub 8th that saw Rusney Castillo go 2-4 with a two run jack while Xander Bogaerts doubled in two runs. Rookie left hander Eduardo Rodriguez makes his third career star when he opposes the Orioles on Tuesday. Rodriguez has won his first two outings with one run allowed on five hits over 14.2 frames.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox - 6/9/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

It’s too early for panic for the Baltimore Orioles but suffice to say they could use some wins. The Orioles were surprise 7-3 winners at Cleveland on Sunday with strong performances in most areas. Starter Bud Norris came off the disabled list with a run allowed on four hits and two BB while whiffing seven over five frames to log his second win. The Birds posted 12 hits and walked three times with Adam Jones and Matt Wieters both going 2-4 with homers and two runs scored while Travis Snider drove in two. The Orioles send five game winner Miguel Gonzalez to the bump to face the rival Red Sox. In eleven 2015 outings Gonzalez has gone 5-4 with a 3.54 ERA through 68.2 innings of work.

Boston are 1-7 in their last 8 road games and the under is 9-3 in their last 12 road games while going  25-11-1 in their last 37 overall. The under is 14-6 in Baltimore’s last 20 home games. Nothing cut and dry here so flip a coin…
