The Milwaukee Brewers continue their series with the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.
The Milwaukee Brewers have come up with a few surprising wins but have not been able to string them together. The Brewers ended a six game slide as their offense came to life in a 9-5 victory at Coors Field. Starter Taylor Jungmann gave up four runs on eight hits over six frames to get the win but the star of the show was the bats that mashed out 16 hits and walked four times. Ryan Braun cracked a two run bomb with Aramis Ramirez going 3-4 with a homer and two runs. Shane Peterson was 3-4 with a homer and two RBI’s with two runs. The Brewers hand the ball to veteran Kyle Lohse in game two of their series at Coors Field. Lohse struggled last time out an 8-5 loss to Kansas City with five runs scored on five hits and two BB in five frames.
