The Milwaukee Brewers continue their series with the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

The Milwaukee Brewers have come up with a few surprising wins but have not been able to string them together. The Brewers ended a six game slide as their offense came to life in a 9-5 victory at Coors Field. Starter Taylor Jungmann gave up four runs on eight hits over six frames to get the win but the star of the show was the bats that mashed out 16 hits and walked four times. Ryan Braun cracked a two run bomb with Aramis Ramirez going 3-4 with a homer and two runs. Shane Peterson was 3-4 with a homer and two RBI’s with two runs. The Brewers hand the ball to veteran Kyle Lohse in game two of their series at Coors Field. Lohse struggled last time out an 8-5 loss to Kansas City with five runs scored on five hits and two BB in five frames.

Colorado Rockies vs. Milwaukee Brewers - 6/20/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Colorado Rockies have been falling further and further behind in the National League West the past two weeks. The Rockies lost more ground in the NL West with Friday’s defeat for their 9th defeat in eleven games. Starter Jorge De La Rosa was hot but was charged with six runs on eleven hits in five frames before Christian Bergman giving up three more runs in an inning. The Rockies still couldn’t keep pace despite an eleven hit attack. Ben Paulsen was 3-4 with two RBI’s while Nolan Arenado went 2-4 with two runs driven in and a pair scored. Charlie Blackmon recorded a pair of hits and knocked in a run with all but two starters hitting safely.Colorado gives Saturday’s start to Chad Bettis who faces the Brewers for the first time ever. Bettis comes in off of a 6-3 defeat at Houston with five runs allowed on five hits including two bombs in five innings.

The over is 6-2 in Milwaukee’s last 8 overall and  is 6-2 in their last 8 on grass while the Brewers are 16-34 in their last 50 road games. Colorado are 4-9 in their last 13 games as a favorite. The over is 18-6-2 in the last 26 meetings whileMilwaukee are 18-37 in the last 55 meetings in Colorado. I can’t see an edge to exploit so perhaps  the over…
