The Cleveland Indians looked as if they were on the way to a win on Friday but they let it get away losing in Baltimore. Ryan Raburn, Carlos Santana, and Brandon Moss each hit home runs as the Indians scored three runs on 10 hits. Starting pitcher Corey Kluber allowed seven hits and three runs while striking out 10 over 7.0 innings to not get a decision as Marc Rzepczynski took the loss. For Saturday’s game the Indians start Cody Anderson who allowed six hits and struck out four over 7.2 scoreless innings in his Major League debut in a no decision at Tampa Bay.
Baltimore is 4-1 in game two of a series, 5-1 in their last six games, and 4-0 in Tillman’s last four starts. Cleveland is 5-1 as an underdog, 10-5 in their last 15 games, and 1-4 in game two of a series.
With the total set at 8.5 my free pick in this one is on the over as both of these pitchers have the ability to let it get away from them. My stronger play is on the winning side and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
