The San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies close out their series on Sunday in San Francisco at AT&T Park.

The San Francisco Giants battled back twice on Saturday to get the win over the Rockies. Matt Duffy had three hits including a home run and Buster Posey, Andrew Susac, and Gregor Blanco each had two hits as the Giants scored seven runs on 12 hits. Starting pitcher Tim Lincecum allowed four hits and three runs lasting just 1.2 innings to not factor in the decision as George Kontos got the win to go to 2-0 for the season and Santiago Casilla earned his 20th save. For Sunday’s game the Giants start Madison Bumgarner who has allowed 88 hits and 34 runs while striking out 102 over 100.2 innings for a 7-4 record and a 3.04 ERA.

San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies - 6/28/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Colorado Rockies made the most out of their scoring chances on Saturday but in the end it wasn’t enough to get the win. WIlin Roasario had two hits and Troy Tulowitzki and Charlie Blackmon each had hits as the Rockies scored five runs on eight hits. Starting pitcher Christopher Rusin allowed 10 hits and five runs, two earned, while striking out four over 6.1 innings to not get a decision as Rafael Betancourt took the loss to fall to 2-2 for the season. For Sunday’s game the Rockies start Kyle Kendrick who has allowed 102 hits and 60 earned runs while striking out 44 over 90.2 innings for a 3-9 record and a 5.96 ERA.

San Francisco is 17-7 following a win, 4-7 as a favorite, and 1-4 in Bumgarner’s last five home starts. Colorado is 36-76 following a loss, 2-5 in game three of a series, and 2-9 in Kendrick’s last 11 starts. San Francisco is 5-1 in Bumgarner’s last six home starts against Colorado.

Bumgarner took a tough loss last time out striking out 14 and I look for him to get the win here as he should get a lot more support against Kendrick and even at the big price I would throw this in my parlays.
