The Washington Nationals scored two runs early but they was all they scored and it wasn’t enough as they lost to the Mets on Saturday. New York is 4-0 against a team with a winning record, 5-2 in their last seven games, and 4-0 in Syndergaard’s last four home starts. Washington is 22-10 against the NL East, 1-5 against a team with a winning record, and 2-7 in Zimmermann’s last nine starts as a road underdog. Washington is 13-3 in Zimmermann’s last 16 starts against the Mets.
The Mets just look to be rolling and Syndergaard has been especially tough at home so I look for the Mets to get the win here.
