Khris Davis paced the Milwaukee offense with a pair of long balls and four RBI’s while Elian Herrera cracked his 5th homer of the season. Chicago Cubs vs. Milwaukee Brewers - 8/11/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The surging Chicago Cubs are showing no signs of fading as many have expected with wins in nine of ten. The Cubs finished off a weekend sweep of visiting San Francisco on Sunday by a 2-0 count behind superb work on the mound. Starter Jake Arrieta continued his strong season with a four hit shutout through 7.1 innings of work to up his record to 13-6. The bats didn’t rack up the hits with four but Kris Bryant and Addison Russell drove in Kyle Schwarber who walked and Arrieta who tripled. Dan Haren makes his second start for the Cubs since being acquired from the Marlins. Haren dropped a 7-5 decision last time out with four runs given up on seven hits in five frames.

The under is 11-4-2 in Milwaukee’s last 17 overall and  is 11-4-2 in their last 17 on grass while the Brewers  are 5-11 in their last 16 overall. Chicago are 10-1 in their last 11 overall and  are 10-1 in their last 11 games on grass while going 8-1 in their last 9 games following a win. If the Brewers are going to steal one this would be it so take this for what it’s worth…
