The Colorado Rockies look to leave Citi Field with a win versus the New York Mets on Thursday.

The Colorado Rockies have struggled to get their arms and bats on the same page which is why they are out of contention in the National League West. The Rockies never got their offense going in a 3-0 defeat at Citi Field. Starter Jorge De La Rosa threw well enough to win with a pair of runs given up on four hits and two free passes over six frames while striking out seven. The bats logged three hits and walked four times with DJ LeMathieu going 2-4 while Michael McKenry walked twice. The Rockies conclude the series in New York with Eddie Butler on the mound Thursday. Butler has struggled the past two times out with eleven runs scored on 15 hits and five BB over ten frames.

New York Mets vs. Colorado Rockies - 8/13/15 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The New York Mets are refusing to lose and give ground to Washington in the National League East. The Mets continued to win with their third in a row Wednesday behind outstanding work on the mound from Jacob deGrom. DeGrom allowed a pair of hits and issued four bases on balls through seven frames to up his record to 11-6.New York mustered six hits and walked three times with Yoenis Cespedes going solo with Juan Uribe scoring and driving in a run. Rookie Noah Syndergaard toes the rubber for the first time against the Rockies. Syndergaard took one on the chin in a 5-4 defeat at Tampa Bay with all five runs plated on eight hits in four innings.

Colorado are 28-74 in their last 102 road games and are 8-21 in their last 29 games as an underdog while the Rockies  are 4-9 in their last 13 overall. New York are 8-0 in their last 8 games on grass and are 9-2 in their last 11 overall while the Mets  are 46-13 in their last 59 games as a favorite. Colorado are 16-38 in the last 54 meetings in New York. I’m just going with the hot team and nothing more…
