The Colorado Rockies look to leave Citi Field with a win versus the New York Mets on Thursday.
The Colorado Rockies have struggled to get their arms and bats on the same page which is why they are out of contention in the National League West. The Rockies never got their offense going in a 3-0 defeat at Citi Field. Starter Jorge De La Rosa threw well enough to win with a pair of runs given up on four hits and two free passes over six frames while striking out seven. The bats logged three hits and walked four times with DJ LeMathieu going 2-4 while Michael McKenry walked twice. The Rockies conclude the series in New York with Eddie Butler on the mound Thursday. Butler has struggled the past two times out with eleven runs scored on 15 hits and five BB over ten frames.
