Cody Anderson gave his team six strong innings with two runs allowed before Bryan Shaw served up a two run homer in the 10th. The Tribe posted nine hits with Yan Gomes smacking a pair of solo bombs with Michael Brantley also going deep. Trevor Bauer shoots for his third straight strong outing when he opposes the Blue Jays for the second time in 2015. In back to back starts Bauer has allowed two earned runs on seven hits and nine BB in 14.1 frames.

The Toronto Blue Jays have been at their best for weeks and need to keep rolling with the Yankees not far behind. The Blue Jays stayed on a roll with Tuesday’s win as they survived extra innings against the pesky Indians. Starter Marco Estrada gave up a pair of solo jacks through seven frames with Roberto Ozuna giving up a solo jack in the 9th. The Jays logged six hits and walked three times with Jose Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion driving in runs with Ryan Goins smacking a two run walk off in the 10th. Veteran RA Dickey gets the call to the mound in Wednesday’s finale’ versus the Indians. Dickey defeated the Tigers 5-3 last time out with all three runs given up on six hits including two homers over 6.2 innings.
